Brief History of the School

     Baesa Elementary School is one of the prestigious schools in Tanque District. Division of Caloocan City that caters quality education and hones up multi-intelligence and skills of the learners to become a contributory citizens of the country.

​

      It started in 1969 as a primary school in a rented-building owned by Barangay captain Celestino Rivera, sited in Barangay 160 Rubyville, Baesa Caloocan, Metro Manila.

​

     Mrs. Maria Abesamis was the first principal who didn’t stay long due to retirement. Mrs. Luzviminda Dizon took over and manages the school for two years.

​

      As the school population increased, incumbent principal Mr. Rafael Montero, in coordination with the PTA President, Anacleto Baguiguito made a resolution signed by the parents to acquire the 5,000 square meter lots located in Barangay 161, Reparo St. Baesa Caloocan City from the National Housing Commission (NHC).

​

     The school site was purchased from the NHC through the city government and the Schools Division Superintendent Modesta G. Boquirin. Bulldozers were hired to level the place for it was hilly.

​

    In the year 1975, witnessed the rising of Baesa Elementary School under the supervision of Dr. Marcelino Lorenzo.

​

     The school has undergone a lot of improvements through the different principals that comes and go.
